Introduction:
The Nuvoton NuMicro M032 series, inclusive of the product M032LG8AE, are 32-bit microcontrollers based on the Arm Cortex-M0 CPU with 32-bit hardware multiplier/divider, operating at voltages ranging from 1.8V ~ 3.6V, featuring 5V I/O tolerance, and running up to 48/72 MHz within the temperature range of - 40~105 ℃.
Function & Applications:
The M032 series presents an expansive solution for crystal-less USB applications needing 1.8V low-voltage interface connection. It incorporates improved fast 2 MSPS conversion rate 12-bit ADC and multichannel PWM control, providing fast and accurate data conversions for voltage, current, and sensor data and quick response control to external devices. These features make the M032 series, including the M032LG8AE, particularly suitable for applications such as Laser Distance Meter, Air Detector/Cleaner, Mobile LCD Panel Controller, Micro Printer, TWS Charger, and WPC Wireless Charger.
Performance Parameters:
The M032 series offers Flash sizes ranging from 32 KB to 512 KB, and SRAM sizes from 4 KB to 96 KB. It also integrates a multiplicity of peripherals for data communication between master and slave devices. For instance, it includes up to 10 sets of UART, 4 sets of SPI, and 4 sets of I2C along with a 1-wire UART interface.
Package Types, Interface & Pin Configuration:
The M032 series offers the package of LQFP48. The M032LG8AE particularly comes in the LQFP48 7 x 7mm package. These packages are pin-compatible, making system design and part change procedures simple and straightforward.
Reliability & Lifespan:
The M032 series has demonstrated proven durability with operation efficiency across a vast temperature range (- 40℃ to 105 ℃), thereby promising longevity.
Standards & Certifications:
The M032 series supports IEC60730 safety specifications, ensuring standard compliance and safety in diverse applications.
Application Cases & Reference Designs:
Target applications notably include Mobile LCD Panel Controller, IoT Sensing Device, Micro Printer, Gaming Keyboard and Mouse, and TWS Charger. Nuvoton provides the NuMaker evaluation boards and Nuvoton Nu-Link debugger to facilitate the development process. Additionally, third-party IDE such as Keil MDK, IAR EWARM, Eclipse IDE with GNU GCC compilers are supported. As application cases and specific reference designs for the M032 series or M032LG8AE, collaboration with the manufacturer or distributor could prove helpful.
