INTRODUCTION:

The NuMicro® M263KIAAE is a microcontroller platform that is specifically developed by Nuvoton, a leading semiconductor company. It's built on Arm® Cortex®-M23 core for Armv8-M architecture, facilitating multifarious Internet-of-Things ( IoT ) applications by offering low power and rigorous security. With a frequency cap at 64 MHz, the M263KIAAE can function seamlessly within an extensive temperature range of - 40 ℃ to +105 ℃, making it apt for various challenging conditions.

FUNCTION & APPLICATIONS:

The M263KIAAE series has several power modes, making it quite versatile and apt for different operational scenarios. It also offers secure boot function, allowing system developers to verify and ensure the integrity of the software. One of the key features of the M263KIAAE is the integration of Voltage Adjustable Interface ( VAI ), which abets the saving of level shifter components, thereby enhancing operational efficiency. This line of microcontrollers can also support SD Memory Card Specification Version 2.0, due to its integration with a Secure Digital Host controller. The M263KIAAE series is designed to work with a wide range of peripherals and offers high performance, thereby facilitating its applicability across various domains such as smart home appliances, Industrial automation, security alarm systems, IoT devices, and electronic payments.

PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS:

This versatile microcontroller defaults to low power consumption and generates superior high-speed performance. It operates on a voltage range of 1.8 V to 3.6 V, with an average power consumption of 97 µA / MHz in LDO mode, and 45 µA / MHz in DC-DC mode.

PACKAGE TYPES, INTERFACE, & PIN CONFIGURATION:

The M263KIAAE series uses an LQFP128 ( 14 mm x 14 mm ) package type. It supports up to six I/O pins to buttress the second I/O voltage from 1.8V to 3.6V.

Nuvoton's NuMicro® M263KIAAE series, designed for unmatched reliability, is incorporated with a 4-region programable XOM to secure critical program codes. An AES 256/192/128 hardware accelerator and a True Random Number Generator are provided to fortify data encryption, enhancing the reliability and lifespan of the unit.
