The NuMicro® M463 and M483 CAN series, developed by Nuvoton, is a high-performance, low-power microcontroller designed for applications in IoT, industrial control, and other related fields. Powered by the Arm® Cortex®-M4F core, with DSP extension, operates at up to 200 MHz and features up to 175 µA/ MHz dynamic low power consumption. This series comes equipped with 512 or 256 KB dual bank Flash memory for OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware upgrades, and 160/ 96 KB embedded SRAM with a 32 KB cache to facilitate fast execution of external SPI Flash code. Its factory pre-loaded bootloader enables Secure Boot, ensuring code integrity in embedded Flash memory. The built-in Secure Protection ROM provides a secure space for storing confidential data or programs. A One-Time Programmable ROM is available for product life-cycle management. Featuring a broad operating voltage range from 1.8V to 3.6V and an industrial temperature range of -40 °C to 105 °C, the M463 and M483 CAN series are accommodated in LQFP48, LQFP64 and LQFP128 packages. It boasts two sets of CAN FD / CAN 2.0B interface, two sets of USB 2.0 interface, and up to nine sets of UART interface.
