The NuMicro® M0A21 / M0A23 series, developed by Nuvoton, is a 32-bit microcontroller based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0 core, designed to excel in robust and high operating temperature applications. With a compact and highly adaptable design, this series provides a rich set of analog and digital functionalities within a small form factor. The M0A23 series is ideal for applications such as 24 GHz mmWave radar, Battery Management System (BMS), car lighting, electric window lifters, and power seats. The series is available in two different packages: SSOP20 and TSSOP28, with the former offering up to 18 IO pins and the latter 26 IO pins. Each IO pin can be assigned to various digital peripherals, such as UART, SPI, and PWM. Additionally, the series provides an array of analog functionalities, including a 17-ch 12-bit 500 KSPS ADC, a 5-bit DAC, and two sets of ACMP. Running at 48 MHz, the M0A21 / M0A23 microcontroller features 16/32 KB of Flash memory, 4 KB of SRAM, and 2 KB of LDROM for ISP (In-System Programming) functionality, enabling easy firmware updates. The series is equipped with a wide range of peripherals, such as four 32-bit timers, six 16-bit PWM generators, two LIN interfaces(M0A23 has an extra CAN bus), and PDMA, UART, and USCI communication interfaces. The M0A21/M0A23 series operate within a voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 125℃. The package types include the SSOP20 (5.3x7.2x1.75 mm) and TSSOP28 (4.4x9.7x1.0 mm). In summary, the NuMicro® M0A21 / M0A23 series is a highly-flexible and robust microcontroller solution designed to meet the demands of various high-temperature applications. With its rich set of analog and digital features, peripherals, and adaptability, the M0A23 series is an ideal choice for applications requiring reliable performance and versatile functionality.
