Operating from 2.4V to 5.5V and -40°C to 85°C, they provide a powerful internal 22.1184 MHz oscillator and feature a configurable Data Flash. In addition, these microcontrollers have high immunity (8 kV ESD, 4 kV EFT), making them suitable for use in environments with potential electrical noise and disturbances. These microcontrollers are available in various package types such as LQFP48, PLCC44, PQFP44, TQFP44, and DIP40, making them suitable for different board designs, form factors, and manufacturing requirements. They are ideal for use in applications such as security/alarm systems, bar code readers, KVM switches, key phones, power management systems, communication equipment, IPCs, and LCD TVs. The Nuvoton Standard 8051 Series features a 4T/6T/12T 8051 processor with a maximum frequency of 40 MHz, ensuring efficient and reliable performance. With up to 128 KB of flash memory and up to 2 KB of SRAM, these devices have sufficient storage and memory capacities to handle various tasks. The Data Flash is configurable, and the built-in In-System Programming (ISP) functionality enables streamlined and flexible firmware updates. These microcontrollers also offer an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with up to 8 channels, 10-bit resolution, and a sampling speed of up to 96 kSPS. This feature enables accurate data acquisition and processing from analog sensors and devices. Connectivity options include one SPI with a speed of up to 1.25 MHz, up to two I²Cs with a speed of up to 400 kHz, and up to two UART interfaces for versatile communication and data transfer capabilities. Lastly, the Nuvoton Standard 8051 Series provides multiple clock control options, including a 4 to 40 MHz crystal oscillator and internal 22.1184 MHz (1% accuracy at 25°C, 5V) or 11.0592 MHz configurable oscillators.
